Threat and Vulnerability Assessment
Project Summary:
- Netira Group, together with Griego and Associates, was contracted by LACMTA/Hatch Mott MacDonald (HMM) at the preliminary engineering phase to perform a Threat and Vulnerability Assessment of the Crenshaw/LAX Light Rail Transit Project.
- A full update to the TVA was performed for Walsh-Shea during the Design-Build phase of the project.
- Full station and alignment analysis was carried out to ensure that all system, architectural and structural design incorporates safety and security countermeasures to match assessed risk.
- Recommendations to mitigate the determined risk were tracked for implementation. Site surveys and workshops were carried out with various stakeholders including Metro staff to ensure both crime and terror risks were identified and mitigated.
